Mariage Freres Powdered Matcha Tea, 40g

Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder. Mariage Frères imports theirs from Miyazaki, Japan. The tea has a bright, vegetal flavour with subtle bitterness. The taste is noticeably richer than your standard green tea.

For one serving of tea, place 1.5g of matcha powder in a bowl. Add 40ml of 80°C water and use a small whisk to combine. Use a vigorous ‘W’ motion until the matcha becomes frothy. Serve immediately.
